You've got a ton of ideas for nonfiction books you could write. The problem is, you're not writing them. Or, maybe you started writing a book, but you gave yourself so much time to write it, you've pretty much been procrastinating since Day 1.
Or, maybe you're feeling the fear, worries about what you don't know, and concerned that you don't have what it takes to self-publish a book.
All of this can be solved by doing one thing: Cutting down your timeline.
I'm Jennifer Blanchard, and I wrote and published my #1 bestselling eBook: The 15-Minute Writer, in a 10-day period.
Why? 'Cause when you cut down the timeline, you will put the needed pressure on yourself to finally get motivated to write and publish your book.
It's a balance. If you give yourself too much time, you'll lose momentum. But if you give yourself a tight timeline that's still doable, you will make it happen.
That's why I took my process from writing and publishing The 15-Minute Writer, and created: Write and Publish Your Nonfiction Book in 30 Days--a self-paced digital course that will take you from idea to self-published book (eBook AND print) on Amazon in only 30 days. Thirty days is long enough for you to make it happen, and still short enough to light a fire under your ass.
Think of this as the nonfiction version of NaNoWriMo (the annual 30-day novel-writing challenge).
This course will walk you step-by-step through the entire process, from outlining your book, to writing it, to formatting it for print and Kindle and designing your cover, to actually uploading it to Amazon and hitting "publish." It even includes a Bonus masterclass on how to sell more books.
Best of all, you get a repeatable process you can use over and over again to develop, write, and self-publish all of your nonfiction books, now and forever more. (I don't recommend using this process with a novel. If you're writing fiction, check out my Novel Crash Course).
Here's how the 30 days will unfold:
Days 1 and 2: Outline Your Book
These first two days set the foundation for the rest of the 30 days. I'll be showing you my outlining process that allows me to make sure I've covered everything and am ready to get started writing.
Day 3 to Day 27: Write, Revise, and Readyify Your Book
These 25 days are the bulk of this program. This is where you'll be writing, revising, and getting your manuscript ready for publication. This is also when you'll hire your editor (if you're working with one), design your book cover (or hire someone to do it for you), and do the interior formatting (or hire someone to do it for you).
You will receive a list of recommended resources for formatters, cover designers, and editors, so you don't have to find them yourself.
Day 28 to Day 30: Finalize + Publish
During the final three days of the program, you'll be finalizing your manuscript, your cover, your back cover and Amazon sales page copy, and anything else you need to complete to be ready to upload your book to Amazon on Day 30.
